Tuberculosis Program

The goal of the Tuberculosis Program is to stop the spread of tuberculosis. This is done through targeted testing, early diagnosis and treatment.

What services are provided by the Health Department?

  • We offer TB skin tests on Tuesdays (9am-12noon and 1:30pm-4pm).
  • We offer Quantiferon blood tests for referred clients.
  • We provide case management to people diagnosed with tuberculosis that do not have insurance or a primary care provider.
  • We conduct contact investigations to ensure that people who have been exposed to tuberculosis are offered appropriate screening.
  • We provide consultation to health care providers in the community.

Our services:

  • Are confidential.
  • Cost is not a barrier for treatment.
  • The staff who serve our clients have expert knowledge and provide compassionate care.
  • Interpreters are available on request at no charge to the client.

Cost: $20.00 Cash/Visa/Mastercard (Test and Reading)
Direction from Public Health Building: I-5 North to exit 81, Right on Mellen St, Left on Yew St, Right on Centralia College Boulevard almost to Pearl St.
Clinic is past the Post Office on Right in Washington Park’s Building.

STECK CLINIC

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. 7am-12noon 1pm-5pm.
Friday 8am-12noon 1pm-3pm
Procedure Nurse - Walk in or by appointment.
Cost: $26.00 (Test and Reading)
Directions from Public Health Building: Turn Left on Main St, Right on N Market, Right on SW 20th St. which becomes Bishop Road. Steck Clinic is on Left.

VALLEY VIEW HEALTH CENTER
