FREE RESIDENTIAL VOUCHER PROGRAM

Lewis County Solid Waste sponsors a free residential voucher program, this program allows the property owner to print one voucher, per year, on a one time only basis, and is for Lewis County residents only. The applications will be available May 1st, 2010 when the program begins. The free residential voucher program ends on September 30th, 2010. Residential vouchers are valid for 30 days from date of issuance and will allow residents the opportunity to dispose of 1,000 pounds of household refuse for free, vouchers may be obtained by clicking on the link above. Tires, appliances, e-waste and household hazardous wastes are NOT covered under the voucher program.

For access to the Free Residential Voucher, please go to www.lewiscountywa.gov. Beginning May 1st, a link to the voucher page will be under Popular Pages or Featured Services on the web site's home page. Another way to get to the voucher is choose Government on the home page; choose Solid Waste; on the Solid Waste page, scroll down to Free Residential Voucher Program and click on the available link to open the application. The application process will be simplified if you know your parcel number. Remember, you must be the owner of the property and you may only receive one voucher, regardless of how many parcels you own. Residents must present a valid driver's license when redeeming vouchers and the license information must be the same as printed on the voucher. PLEASE PRESENT VOUCHERS WHEN ENTERING THE INBOUND SCALE.
