DISCOVER PASS

Beginning with the October 2011 vehicle registration renewals, Dept. of Licensing will allow the purchase of the State Parks Discover Pass at the time of renewal in vehicle licensing offices. What has not been made clear is that vehicle licensing offices, including the Lewis County Auditor's Office, will not issue the Discover Pass. Those who choose to purchase the pass with their registration will receive the pass in the mail from Dept. of Fish and Wildlife within 2 weeks. Vehicle licensing offices will not have Discover Passes on hand. For immediate needs it is recommended that passes be purchased from sporting goods or other retail stores that sell hunting and fishing licenses.
